• A Mount Airy man was arrested Saturday on multiple felony and other charges, according to city police department reports. Kenneth Anthony Pack, 25, of 111 Badgett Ave., was encountered by officers during a trespassing call at Northern Hospital of Surry County, and found to have outstanding warrants for arrest out for him on a felony violation of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny, which had been issued on May 2.

Pack also was discovered to be wanted on another felony count of breaking and entering of a vehicle and two misdemeanors, larceny and possession of stolen goods, which were filed on May 18. No other details were listed regarding either set of charges, for which Pack was confined in the Surry County Jail, with a $5,500 secured bond set in the May 2 case and $6,000 for the May 18 case. He is scheduled to appear in District Court on both June 1 and 2.

• A littering violation was issued on May 16 against Jimmie Wayne York Noisey, 35, of 158 Lovill Circle, after he allegedly was found to have dumped a scrapped motor vehicle on private property belonging to another person. Noisey was released under a $5,000 unsecured bond to appear in Surry District Court on June 29.

• Two residents of Winston-Salem, Rigoberto Garcia, 46, and Sosa Alexsandro Pacheco, both of the same address on Shattalon Drive, were arrested on felony false-pretense charges on May 14 after an incident at Walmart. Pacheco is accused of obtaining property by false pretense and Garcia with conspiring to obtain property by false pretense, with no other details listed. Each was held in the Surry County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond and is to be in District Court on June 15.

• William Thomas Allen Jr., 35, of 640 S. South St., was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge on May 14 after a disturbance on South South Street near Durham Street. Allen allegedly confronted a female bystander walking on the sidewalk there and yelled profanity at her. He was jailed under a $500 secured bond, with a July 5 court date set in the case.
