DOBSON — A Surry County Grand Jury handed down indictments to 14 people this week in drug-related activities.
Here are the drug-related indictments from this week’s court activity:
• Ricky Dean Marion, 53, of Hess Lane, Mount Airy, with eight counts of trafficking opium or heroin, two counts of maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Teresa Lopez Espinosa, 32, of McIver Road, Sanford, with two counts of trafficking opium of heroin.
• Pedro Benitez Serrano, 34, of McIver Street, Sanford, with two counts of trafficking opium or heroin and felony possession of cocaine.
• Roger Steven Goins, 62, of Bunker Road, Mount Airy, with two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, sale or delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, two counts of maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling, possession of a firearm by a felon and acquiring the status of a habitual felon.
• James Wyatt Akers, 26, of Fred Atkinson Lane, Mount Airy, with sale and delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling and possession with intent to sell, deliver or manufacture a schedule II controlled substance.
• Shaquinton Theron Bell, 22, of Eleanor Avenue, Mount Airy, with possession with intent to sell, deliver or manufacture a schedule III controlled substance.
• Sue Ann Dunn, 39, of Glass Road, Mount Airy, with possession of methamphetamine.
• Gerri Rella Hatcher, 29, of Rockinghorse Trail, Mount Airy, with attempted obtaining property by false pretense, possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule I controlled substance.
• Jacobo Marquez-Vega, 31, of Cotton Top Drive, Knightdale, with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling.
• Matthew Justin Monday, 39, Old Toast Road, Mount Airy, with possession of methamphetamine.
• Mandy Nester, 34, of East Pine Street, Mount Airy, with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling and manufacture of a schedule II controlled substance.
• Melanie Dawn Speas, 45, of Westview Lane, Cana, with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling and altering, stealing or destroying criminal evidence.
• Frederick L. Crame, 45, of Grassy Circle, Hamptonville, with possession of a methamphetamine precursor.
• John Lawrence Scales, 55, of Oak Grove Church Road, Mount Airy, with maintaining a drug vehicle or dwelling and possession of a stolen firearm.
True bills of indictment were also returned to the following:
• Jody Darrell Nichols, 32, Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, with seven counts of breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny, six counts of larceny after breaking and entering, three counts of possession of stolen goods or property, two counts of conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense, obtaining property by false pretense and acquiring the status of a habitual felon.
• Crystal Pack Ladd, 35, of Ayers Circle, Lowgap, with two counts each of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and one count each of conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, conspiracy to obtain property by false pretense, conspiracy to break and enter a building and commit felony larceny, obtaining property by false pretense and breaking and entering.
• Laurie Kay Baker, 52, of Wind Ridge Lane, Dobson, with felony larceny.
• John Henry Beeson II, 65, of Church Street, Elkin, with two sex offender residence violations.
• Bridgette Nicole Bounds, 42, of New Creed Lane, Mount Airy, with two counts of financial card theft.
• Sonya Kaye Bowman, 42, of Fancy Gap Highway, Fancy Gap, Virginia, with larceny of a motor vehicle.
• Vestal Junior Crotts, 60, of West Lebanon Street, Mount Airy, with habitual impaired driving.
• Angela Wood Jenkins, 46, of Mustang Alley Trail, Dobson, with conspiracy to break and enter.
• Seth Aaron Kernodle, 27, of Cora Lane, Mount Airy, with felony larceny and larceny of a motor vehicle.
• Ryan Scott Kunkel, 36, of Saddle Creek Way, Mount Airy, with four counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
• Joshua Wayne Potts, 27, of White Dirt Road, Dobson, with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods or property and larceny of a motor vehicle.
• Bryan Christopher Thompson, 34, of East Seventh Street, Salem, Virginia, with two counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
