The Edward M. Armfield Sr. Foundation presented scholarships to 62 Surry County students in a recent ceremony, followed by a reception, held at the Shelton-Badgett North Carolina Center for Viticulture and Enology on Surry Community College’s campus.

Students, their parents, and school administrators from Surry County, Mount Airy City, and Elkin City school systems joined Surry Community College representatives who recognized the achievements of the scholarship recipients.
