Arts Alive 2017 wraps up today

The Surry Arts Council’s 38th Arts Alive camp will conclude today with a parade and performance.

Arts Council Executive Director Tanya Jones said the camp, which endeavors to treat kids to some fun while participating in the arts, drew many participants.

The camp is led by group leaders, many of whom are local teachers, and a number of teenage volunteers help to make the camp possible.
