Surry County Sheriff Reports

DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Amy Wall Riddle, 41, of Swaim Drive, Elkin, was served an order for arrest July 20 on a charge of failure to appear in court on July 10. She was given a $20,000 secured bond and an Aug. 23 court date. The charges for that date were not listed. Riddle has a court date today on charges of larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Frank Hernandez, 31, of Hardin Mill Road, Dobson, was served an order for arrest July 23 on two counts of failure to appear in court June 14. He was given a $6,000 secured bond and court dates for Aug. 9 and Aug. 21. The previous charges were not listed.

• James Daryl Barker, 45, of Poplar Springs Road, was served five warrants July 20. The charges were obtaining property by false pretense, two counts of misdemeanor larceny and two counts of possession of stolen goods. He was given a $1,000 unsecured bond and an Aug. 8 court date.

• Amanda Ashley Hunter, 24, of Pilot Church Road, Pinnacle, was served an order for arrest July 20 on a charge of failure to appear in court, dated May 24, on a charge of resisting an officer. The family posted a $300 cash bond, and Hunter was given a July 26 court date. She also has a Sept. 12 date in Forsyth County for speeding.

• Gerri Rilla Hatcher, 29, of Spaugh Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 20 on two counts of failure to appear. The original charges were driving with a suspended license and driving with a revoked license plate. She was given a $300 cash bond and an Aug. 29 court date.

• Brandi Marie Hawks, 29, of Loop Drive, Cana, Virginia, was served an order for arrest July 20 on three counts of failure to appear in court from March. She was given a $300 cash bond and an Aug. 15 court date.

According to the N.C. Court System website, Hawks has charges of possession of II and IV drugs, possession of meth, and drug paraphernalia.

• Santana Cockerham, 32, no listed address, was served an order for arrest on July 22 for failure to appear in court on a charge of cyber-stalking, dated May 5. She was given a $300 secured bond and an Aug. 25 court date.

• Amanda Delaine Bost, 29, of U.S. 601, Dobson, was served two warrants July 24, dated June 5. The charges were simple assault and criminal trespassing. The complainant is Michael Dean Martin, listed as the same address. She was given an Aug. 25 court date.

• Jonathan Marshall Wellman, 31, of Yadkinville, was served an order for arrest while at the courthouse July 24. He was charged with three counts of failure to appear; the original charges were speeding, no vehicle inspection and driving while license suspended (not impaired). He was given a $2,000 bond and an Aug. 17 court date.

• Deborah Gray Conley, 55, of McLean, Virginia, was served a warrant July 24 in Dobson. The charges were second-degree trespassing and two counts of communicating threats. She was given an Aug. 25 court date.

• Rachel Mae Branch, 32, of N.C. 268, Siloam, was served an order for arrest July 25 for two counts of failure to appear in court. She received a $2,300 bond and a court date later the same day. She has an Aug. 1 court date for reckless driving (wanton disregard) and failure to wear a seatbelt.

• Elder Filadelfo Coron Perez, 30, of Santa Cruz Lane, Elkin, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse July 25 for three counts of failure to appear in court. The previous charges were driving while intoxicated, driving while license revoked and reckless driving, dated July 5. He was given a $3,000 secured bond and an Aug. 2 court date.

• Sean Michael Hegesi, 32, New Crosswinds Drive, Mount Airy, was arrested July 25 on sight on charges of domestic assault on a female and communicating threats. The victim listed is wife Rebecca Hylton. He was given a $1,000 unsecured bond and an Aug. 25 court date. He has a Sept. 1 court date for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.

• Matthew Brandon Mitchell, 35, of Oscar Frye Road, Pinnacle, was served an order for arrest July 25 on a charge of failure to appear, dated July 21. The original charge was writing a worthless check. He was given a $300 cash bond and a court date later the same day.
