At its May meeting, the Mountain View Gardeners Garden Club had its installation of new officers for the ensuing year. Officers for the 2017-2018 term are, Tamra Thomas, president; Marie Simmons, vice president; Jenny Cooke, secretary and Barbara Oliver, treasurer, who were were installed by Betty Wright.
Following the installation service, the club members enjoyed a luncheon at the William A. Moore House. In keeping with a previous month’s program by the Audubon Society, the tablescape included antique bluebird china with a variety of abandoned birds’ nests displayed as the centerpiece.
